Grammy Awards 2020, tutti i vincitori: la serata dedicata a Kobe Bryant

Serata intensa, quella dei Grammy Awards 2020. L’edizione 62 del premio della musica, svoltasi allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, ha visto trionfare sin dalle nomination Lizzo con ben otto candidature, ma a portare a casa la vittoria è stata Billie Eilish.

La serata, che si è svolta nella notte tra il 26 e il 27 gennaio (per l’Italia), ha eletto Billie Eilish come la più premiata della serata.

Una serata importante e delicata, quella dei Grammy, partita con un minuto di silenzio per Kobe Bryant, il campione di basket che ha perso tragicamente la vita insieme alla figlia Gianna (13 anni) nello schianto di un elicottero in California. Nell’incidente hanno perso la vita nove persone. Al di fuori dell’arena, dove si è svolta la cerimonia, sono apparsi dei cartelloni giganti con una foto di Bryant e centinaia di fan hanno voluto rendere omaggio al loro campione.

Alicia Keys e Boyz IL Men hanno voluto ricordare Bryant dedicandogli una versione a cappella del brano “It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday”.

“Eccoci nella notte più importante della musica per celebrare gli artisti che hanno dato il meglio ma per essere onesti stiamo tutti provando una grande amarezzza”, ha dichiarato la madrina della serata Alicia Keys.

Una serata difficile, ma che ha visto assegnare i Grammy – intesi come gli Oscar della musica – a diversi cantanti, alcuni più scontati di altri.
