Venerdì 7 dicembre 2018 sono state svelate dalla Recording Academy le nomination per i Grammy Awards 2019, in programma domenica 10 febbraio 2019 a Los Angeles.

Per poter partecipare, ogni registrazione deve essere stata rilasciata tra il 1 ottobre 2017 e il 30 settembre 2018. Tantissimi i cantanti in gara, suddivisi in 84 diverse categorie. Lo stesso numero dell’edizione dello scorso anno.

L’annuncio delle nomination, inizialmente previsto per mercoledì 5 dicembre 2018, è stato posticipato a giorno 7 per osservare il lutto nel giorno dei funerali dell’ex presidente americano George H. W. Bush, morto sabato 1 dicembre.

Nella notte tra domenica 10 e lunedì 11 febbraio, poi, sono stati resi noti i nomi dei vincitori (QUI TUTTI I VINCITORI).

Grammy Awards 2019 | Quando è prevista la premiazione

I Grammy Awards 2019, arrivati alla 61esima edizione, verranno conferiti domenica 10 febbraio allo Staples Center Los Angeles, dove si sono svolte 14 delle ultime 15 edizioni.

Vista l’imponente mole di categorie e cantanti in gara, la Recording Academy ha stabilito che già prima dell’inizio della diretta della premiazione vengano premiati già i vincitori di circa 70 categorie.

Alla fine delle celebrazioni dei cantanti è previsto anche un esclusivo after party, in cui di certo non mancheranno esibizioni dal vivo degli artisti.

Grammy Awards 2019 | Dove vederli | Diretta tv e straming

Lo spettacolo dei Grammy Awards va in onda, in diretta, sulla CBS. Inizio previsto per le 20, ora locale. In Italia, dunque, la premiazione comincia circa alle 5 di mattina.

La cerimonia viene trasmessa solo sulla CBS, che ne ha l’esclusiva. Nel nostro Paese non è ancora chiaro se qualche emittente trasmetterà la premiazione.

Tuttavia, è possibile che il sito ufficiale dei Grammy trasmetta alcune parti della diretta in streaming. Qualcosa può essere disponibile anche sull’applicazione Grammy Live per iOS, Android e Windows Mobile e l’App CBS per iOS e Android.
